PCB Assembly Operator Job Description

a. Use soldering irons, hand tools, materials, assembly drawings and bills of materials to assemble moderately complex electronic and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.

b. Follow manufacturing practices, quality standards and customer documentation.

c. Maintain and complete travelers and logs as required.

d. Experience and knowledge of quality and workmanship standards.

e. Experience using soldering equipment and hand tools.

f. Ability to read and interpret drawings, bill of materials and work instructions.

g. Ability to recognize wire sizes and hardware.

h. Ability to read component part numbers.
